Setup # 2 - replace the previous router with the mAX router by turning off the power on the previous router and disconnecting all Ethernet cables. Then connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the modem device and to the Ethernet port labeled WAN in yellow on the bottom of the mAX router. Power reset both modem device and the mAX router.
